THREE CAMERAS - 1 SHOOT

We recently had the idea to do a comparison between our three current cameras that we have at home. Our main camera the Sony A7Riv with a 16-35 f/2.8 GM lens, our premium compact RX100vi with a built in 24-200 lens and our vlogging camera the brand new Sony ZV-1 with a 24-70 lens.

I know you are probably reading this and thinking how on earth is this a fair comparison! These cameras have absolutely nothing to do with each other.

We definitely know that the quality and dynamic range of our A7riv is next level and obviously it is mirrorless with interchangeable lenses and all the things you need as a professional photographer. We wanted to show you however if you are a beginner or you need something smaller or just a second camera to have on hand then there are plenty of amazing options from Sony.

So let's get right into it! We headed out to the beautiful Chapmans peak to go grab our photos. We chose to shoot around mid-day to give all the cameras equal opportunity to shine. We also took all the photos within a few minutes of each other in the same spot. We shot like we would do for instagram and tried to get the type of travel photos we usually do.

We also decided to keep all three camera lenses at the focal length of 24mm.

These are the types of photos we would publish with blog posts or share on our social media.
